Terms of Service
Last updated 16 October 2026.
Floramy is in a small private testing phase. These terms are intentionally short and will get a proper legal review before Floramy opens to the public. Read them as a plain statement of what using Floramy means right now, not a finished legal document.
Who can use this
You must be 18 or older to use Floramy. By signing in, you're confirming that you are.
What Floramy is for
Floramy helps people track shared time fairly across their relationships. It's a record-keeping tool, not a mediator, a licensed counselor, or a substitute for an actual conversation with the people you're connected to. It isn't an emergency or crisis service. If someone is in danger, contact your local emergency services.
Using it fairly
Don't use Floramy to harass, monitor, or pressure another person, or to log time or claims that didn't happen. Connections are meant to be entered into willingly, by both people. If someone connects with you and you don't want that, you can decline the request, or decline and block, in which case they are not told; if you're already connected and want out, you can end the connection at any time. It ends for both of you: you each keep your own history of it, but no new time can be added. The number of requests a person can send is limited. Floramy starts in private mode: to people you aren't directly connected to you are a "Someone" until you choose otherwise.
If something about how another person is using Floramy concerns you, use the Feedback page (the star icon in the app) to tell us. Reports involving a specific person are handled directly, not treated as a routine feature request.
What you add
You are responsible for what you write in Floramy: notes, captions, signals, moments, your About me list and feedback. Don't add anything unlawful, and don't put another person's private information where they haven't agreed to it. What you write stays yours; you give Floramy the right to store it and show it the way the app describes, for example showing a caption to the other person on that connection.
Suggestions from AI
Some features use AI (Claude, made by Anthropic) to suggest date and gift ideas, message drafts and ways to catch up. These are suggestions. They can be wrong or unsuitable, they are not advice, and you decide what to do with them. Floramy never sends an AI-written draft for you: it is only shown to you, and you decide whether to use it. (Floramy does send its own invitations, requests, reminders and notifications, as described in the Privacy Policy.) The Help chat answers questions about how Floramy works from the Guide. Its answers can be wrong or out of date: if something does not work as it says, check the Guide or tell us through Feedback.
Paid features
Floramy is free during the testing phase. Some features are planned to become part of a paid plan, Floramy Plus, bought through the App Store or Google Play, which handles payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds. We'll tell you before anything you use today moves behind a payment. Downloading your data, deleting your account, reading these terms and the Privacy Policy, and sending feedback are never behind a payment.
When Floramy Plus goes on sale, it is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly. The price and billing period are shown in the store before you confirm. It renews automatically until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account, which you can do at any time there; cancelling stops the next renewal, and Plus stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. Payment, receipts and refunds are handled by the store under its own rules, and Floramy cannot refund a store payment itself. A subscription belongs to the Floramy account it was bought with: it cannot be active on two Floramy accounts at once, and a restore on a different account does not move it. Deleting your Floramy account ends your Plus access but does not cancel the subscription, so cancel it in the store first if you want to stop paying.
The testing phase
Floramy is under active development. Features change, and (while we take real care with your data) things can break during a beta in ways they shouldn't once Floramy is stable and public. Please don't treat Floramy as your only record of anything important.
Your data
See the Privacy Policy for what's collected, why, and your rights over it.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may also suspend an account that's being used to harass or harm another person.
No warranty, and our liability
Floramy is provided "as is," with no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. See "The testing phase" above. To the fullest extent the law allows, Merkenberg isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Floramy (for example, a decision you made based on what the app showed you). Nothing here limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited, such as for intentional misconduct.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Floramy grows. When a change matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it applies, and the date at the top shows when they were last updated. If you don't agree with a change, you can delete your account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute that can't be resolved directly will go to the competent Dutch court. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
